Mock interview week
Volunteer to facilitate 45 minute interviews for current students. Volunteers can choose to do to a half day or full day of interviews. Experience in mock interviews is desired.

Informational interview
Be on a list of contacts willing to meet with students who are looking to connect with professionals in the field for career-related questions.

Panel discussions
Participate on a panel with other professionals to talk about your career, industry, or to offer general career advice.

Employer site visits
Work with your company and the Career Center for Science and Engineering to plan a company tour and presentation.

Recruit a CBS student
Think of CBS students when looking for new talent to join your organization (i.e. internships, full-time positions, etc).

Mentoring a student
Build a relationship with a student who is looking for academic and professional guidance.

Interview for CBS newsletter
Be a part of our quarterly newsletter. CBS is looking for interesting research, CBS related stories, etc.

Small group breakfast or lunch with the Dean on campus
Informal discussion with other alums to hear what's going on with CBS.

Serve on the Biological Sciences Alumni Society Board of Directors
CBS is always looking for driven and engaging individuals who have a passion for CBS alumni and student engagement.

Help recruit students outside Minnesota
Be willing to get together informally with potential students in your area.
