Cairngorms National Park - Knowledge Transfer Project

1. Introduction

Are you, or your organisation conducting research in the Cairngorms National Park?

Are you a policy maker, a landowner, or representing a community or company interested in sustainable development in the Cairngorms?

Have you published articles, papers, or books about the Cairngorms? Are you or have you been involved in any research projects related to this area?

Then please take a minute and complete this form, become a member of our Knowledge Transfer Network, and contribute to increasing awareness and involving research and practice in Cairngorms National Park.

Our main goals are to:
- identify recent and ongoing research in Cairngorms National Park and who has been doing it;
- find out which practitioners, communities, landowners and other stakeholders may be interested in this research, or possible future research;
- set up a process to transfer knowledge from researchers to users on the ground;
- support the Park Authority in delivering a more effective National Park Plan and management of the Cairngorms.

We plan to do this using a dedicated website, improving available materials and information about active research institutions, and organising a public event in November 2010 to link research and practice in the Park

Please answer the questions as specifically as you can. It should not take longer than 10 minutes to complete this form. Thank you for your commitment to sustainable development and research in the Cairngorms!
