The British Council is working together with the sustainable living charity Global Action Plan to inspire a community of young people to take action against to climate change.
Our training programme is aimed at 18-35 year olds like you who’d like to tackle climate change, whilst also picking up some great tips on communication, teamwork, leadership and project management – really useful skills that employers look out for in their potential employees.
After attending the training, you would then go on to run your very own project to create change in your local community, for which you would receive a United Nations Environment Programme certificate and become a British Council Climate Champion.
And one of the best aspects of this? The training and participation is absolutely FREE, with a stay at the Centre for Alternative Technology included. We’ll be covering your expenses, from your travel to your meals during the course.
The next course will be taking place from the 31st of March to the 2nd of April, 2011.
