The survey is conducted by researchers from the Smithsonian Institute, The Encyclopedia of Life and the University of Maryland. The study was approved by the University of Maryland Institutional Review Board (IRB protocol #10-0352).
The insights that you will provide in your responses will inform the design of a platform for collaboration between professional scientists and scientific volunteers.
