Better Blocks Philly has been a temporary, ten-day, traffic-calming demonstration project held October 13-23, 2011 on the 1700 blocks of Webster and Christian Streets. Organized by the South of South Neighborhood Association (SOSNA), in partnership with Wallace Roberts and Todd (WRT) and Brown & Keener, and held during the 2011 DesignPhiladelphia event, Better Blocks Philly aimed to improve pedestrian safety and street functionality using innovative and creative street treatments.
We need to hear the thoughts and opinions of neighbors, both those immediately impacted by the project and those farther from the project site, so that we may report back to the City of Philadelphia. We greatly appreciate your taking the time to thoughtfully fill out this survey. Please visit www.betterblocksphilly.org for more information and background on the project.
For the purposes of this survey, the Better Blocks area includes the 1700 blocks of Christian and Webster Streets and the adjacent blocks of 17th and 18th Streets.
