Thank you for taking a few moments to complete this survey for the Boulder County Mountain Town Transit Feasibility Study. The survey has 25 questions and takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete.
The study will focus on the potential of adding new or expanded transit services to Boulder County's mountain communities. Communities covered in this study include: Allenspark, Eldora, Gold Hill, Jamestown, Lyons, Nederland, and Ward, as well as the Brainard Lake Recreation area. Potential connections to the Cities of Longmont and Boulder will be examined, as well as connections to Gilpin County (Blackhawk/Central City/Rollinsville) and Larimer County (Estes Park).
Final recommendations from the study will be integrated into Boulder County's Transportation Master Plan, and will be used to shape future transit-related decisions throughout the County.
Please note that this is a concept study. As such, it will identify potential opportunities, barriers, and next steps to implement transit service over time. These next steps include obtaining implementation funding, studying impacts to natural lands and recreation areas, and other actions that will need to occur after this study effort and before transit service can be implemented. This study is therefore a first step in that process.
At the end of this survey you will have the opportunity to provide your comments to Boulder County staff regarding current and potential mountain transit services.
