About this category:
This category will recognise the retail bank, government ministry or retailer that has been most successful in designing and launching a prepaid card for consumer uptake. The judges will primarily be looking for evidence of innovation, market relevance, and benefit to the consumer.

Open to:
All Financial Institutions, Retailers & Government Ministries

Criteria:
Entrants should be able to demonstrate:

• New thinking in concept, design and implementation to increase usability and market appeal

• An overview of the features of the prepaid card and why it was launched

• How the prepaid card has contributed to the revenue growth and/or efficiency of the organisation

• Explain how the card was launched and marketed to accelerate adoption

• The longevity of the card in the market
