Introduction

RESPONSES TO AUSTERITY is a research and learning project focused on the ways in which individuals, communities, organisations and institutions have reacted to the programme of austerity which began in 2010.

We focus particularly on responses to austerity which are innovative in that they do not simply accept the ill effects of austerity but seek to adapt to austerity, challenge it at various levels, or imagine alternatives.

We are working to build awareness and share experiences about how people can take action to mitigate the effects of austerity, and to challenge it, in order to promote social justice.

We would like to invite you to be part of the RESEARCH (by filling in this survey) and the EVENTS (taking place Winter 2014-15).

The purpose of this survey is to gather examples of innovative responses to austerity and to hear from you how you would like to be involved in learning events.

All respondents will be entered into a prize draw for the chance to win a £50 John Lewis voucher.
