Survey Background and Participant Information

 
The purpose of this survey is to document and understand the motivations of Australian hunters, particularly in relation to their role as natural resource managers, and to quantify their participation rates and expenditure on hunting.

To obtain the broadest representation of hunters please complete the survey - it should take you about 10 minutes.

The survey can only be completed by hunters 18 years and over.

Associate Professor Peter Murray, Dr Greg Baxter and Dr Julia Hoy, all staff within the University of Queensland, will be processing the data.

This survey is anonymous. All responses from participants will be stored and analysed in a de-identified format to protect respondents privacy.

This study adheres to the Guidelines of the ethical review process of The University of Queensland. Whilst you are free to discuss your participation in this study with project staff, if you would like to speak to an officer of the University not involved in the study, you may contact the Ethics Officer on 3365 3924.
