CAL State of Applied Linguistics Programs: Student Survey
The Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) is conducting a survey on the state of graduate education in applied linguistics in the United States. The responses collected by this survey will provide information on student perceptions of the field and will serve as a basis for discussion about not only the current state of applied linguistics but also where the field should concentrate its efforts in the next half century.
This survey will cover the following topics:
i. Background information on your course of study
ii. Program outcomes
iii. Description of the field
iv. Scholarship in the field
v. Future directions of the field
We are grateful to our Advisory Board for working with us to conceptualize the project and develop the survey.
No identifying information will be published or presented in connection with your responses.
Please complete the survey as thoroughly as possible. If there are any questions to which you do not wish to reply, you may skip them.
