1. Survey of local perceptions – Impediments to Fair Housing Choice
Background:
Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act), as amended, prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents or legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing custody of children under the age of 18), and handicap (disability).
The City of Anderson is currently updating the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice. We want to hear from you about your experience with fair housing issues and concerns. Please complete the following survey. All responses are confidential and will be aggregated for the study.
You may complete the survey online or you may mail the survey to the attention of Marlane Fletcher (Fair Housing Coordinator) at the following address:
