5.Introduction
This survey is being conducted by faculty and students in the Department of Economics at Appalachian State University in cooperation with the non-profit Appalachian Institute for Renewable Energy (AIRE). AIRE was formed to promote economies and healthy environments throughout Central and Southern Appalachia. AIRE promotes local and regional economic development based on renewable energy production with citizen control and community benefits.
The purpose of the survey is to determine public support for the goals of AIRE. Please take a few minutes of your time to answer the following questions. There are only 20 questions.
