1. Welcome and Thanks: AAAE Blueprint Focus Area Two
Thank you for responding to a series of questions and prompts about the Association of African American Educators’ (AAAE) Blueprint to Accelerate the Achievement of African American and African Students (Blueprint).
Principals are required to collaborate with school-based administrative teams to prepare responses to this survey (NOTE: these teams include: Site Leadership Teams, School Site Councils, Site Governance Teams, PTA/PTSAs, English Language Advisory Committees).
The San Diego Unified School District Board of Education approved in concept the AAAE Blueprint on November 9, 2010 ( www.sandi.net/aaaeblueprint ).
When responding to each question/prompt, please consider the kinds of programs and initiatives that are currently offered, especially those programs and initiatives designed for (or geared towards) African American and African students.
