NFCA COMMITTEE OPENINGS FOR FALL ELECTIONS
Be a part of your association by running for a committee vacancy. Below is a listing of the current committee openings. If interested, please email michelle@nfca.org or complete the online interest form below. NFCA COMMITTEE MEMBERS MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE NFCA NATIONAL CONVENTION SINCE THE COMMITTEE MEETINGS ARE HELD THERE.

1. THE FOLLOWING COMMITTEE IS OPEN TO ALL COLLEGIATE, HIGH SCHOOL OR TRAVEL BALL MEMBERS, including head and associate head/assistant coaches.

TOURNAMENT AND CAMP COMMITTEE -- Members of this committee will provide direction for NFCA tournaments and camps; give input regarding the structure and format of the events, and assist in the marketing and promotion of them.
2. THE FOLLOWING POSITION IS OPEN TO ALL COLLEGIATE, HIGH SCHOOL OR TRAVEL BALL MEMBERS (Please check the category for which you would like to be considered)
AWARDS COMMITTEE -- Duties include establishing criteria for various service and coaching awards; soliciting and reviewing the credentials of individuals who may meet the criteria; monitoring other organization's awards and notifying the NFCA membership of any that would apply to fastpitch coaches and their players, and overseeing the presentation of awards at the NFCA National Convention.

3. THE FOLLOWING COMMITTEE AND SUBCOMMITTEES ARE OPEN TO ALL COLLEGIATE, HIGH SCHOOL OR TRAVEL BALL MEMBERS, including head and associate head/assistant coaches.
RECRUITING COMMITTEE AND RECRUITING SUBCOMMITTEES -- There shall be a separate Recruiting Subcommittee for each of the following active membership groups and both head and associate head/assistant coaches are elgible to serve: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, NJCAA, California Community College, High School, Travel Ball. Each subcommittee will made up of eight to 10 individuals, based on the number of regions for the category. Duties include monitoring recruiting rules and policies within each group and making suggestions for change; communicate rules, regulations and interpretations to the various members of that group; and develop educational material for coaches, players and parents. The chair of each subcommittee will serve on the Recruiting Committee.

In addition, the committee will make recommendations regarding curriculum, while staying abreast of changes in coaching theory and techniques; aid in the marketing and promotion of the various events, and maintain a current list of possible instructors and provide recommendations upon request.
