1. About Category Week

14% of survey complete.
Category Week will be a new event in the CIPSA Conferences Schedule, running from 29th May to 1st June 2012 at the Australian Technology Park Conference Center, Sydney.

Combining the best elements of a number of established CIPSA Conferences, namely The Category Management Forum, Use of Technology in Procurement, and the series of one-day Special Category Forums, Category Week will contain a broad programme, run in multiple streams, with delegates having the option to book to attend as much or as little of the conference as meets their needs.

This survey is designed to assist the CIPSA Conferences team in confirming the event content, and to identify potential speakers.

Based on the feedback from this survey, we anticipate releasing the outline programme in early January and the full programme by the end of February.
Category week will contain a number of full and half-day streams focussed on specific indirect categories. The full day streams will contain an eclectic mix of sessions from category experts, category suppliers and case studies from leading category managers. The half-day streams will be similar, but obviously with a reduced number of sessions. This section of the survey seeks to confirm which categories we should be giving priority to and to identify both issues and potential speakers within those categories.
