2. Please state the type of products/components you manufacture/supply/import:
3. Do you use fabrics that require flammability testing to comply with 16 CFR 1610? (Fabrics that do not require testing to 16 CFR 1610 include, 1) plain surface fabrics, regardless of fiber content, weighing 2.6 ounces per square yard or more; and, 2) all fabrics (both plain surface and raised-fiber surface) regardless of weight, made entirely from any the following fibers or entirely from a combination of these fibers: acrylic, modacrylic, nylon, olefin, polyester, and wool.)
4. A children's product includes fabric that requires flammability testing (as referred to in question 2). The general conformity certification states that the product was manufactured today. How long ago did the fabric used in the product get tested? (If the answer varies, please explain below)
5. What's the maximum amount of time that may pass between testing a fabric for flammability and using the fabric in a children's garment? (If the answer varies, please explain below)
6. Is the third party testing facility (or facilities) your company uses to test for flammable fabrics accredited by the CPSC to test for flammable fabrics? (Note: to determine whether your lab is accredited, please visit http://www.cpsc.gov/cgi-bin/labsearch/, narrow the scope of your search by selecting "16 CFR 1610 Standard for the Flammability of Clothing Textiles," then click "narrow list.")
