Pickerington Recreation Center Survey

 
1. A group of concerned citizens along with representatives of various political and governmental bodies have formed an investigatory committee (“Committee”) to assess the perceived need and feasibility of developing a broader range of facilities that are available for use by the taxpayers and organizations of our community, at little or no cost. In this regard, the Committee would appreciate your input and response to the following questions:

Do you believe there is a need for a community/youth center that would provide facilities such as meeting and conference rooms, banquet facilities, a commercial kitchen and a place for teens to socialize (“Community Center”)?
2. If a Community Center were developed would you support a tax levy to pay for its construction and operation:
3. Do you believe there is a need for additional recreational and sports facilities in our community that are available for public use such as indoor, outdoor and turf facilities for baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse, soccer, swimming etc. (“Recreational Facilities”):
4. If Recreational Facilities were developed would you support a tax levy to pay for their construction and operation:
5. Please provide us with any additional comments you would like to make.

Based upon the information obtained by the Committee, it will determine whether to further investigate the feasibility of these projects and whether to have conceptual plans prepared for public comment.
