1. Contact Details
The current objectives of the Historic Environment Group are to:
• Strengthen the focus of planners and associated professionals across the UK on working within and for the historic environment as a core value
• Strengthen links with other professional bodies and stakeholders concerned with the historic environment to enable exchange of information, celebration of best practice and promotion of solutions to the mitigation of risk to historic environment assets
• Develop evidence and promote awareness of the role that the historic environment can have in delivering more effective, inclusive and sustainable regeneration and economic development
• Contribute to the collective processes that debate and enhance policy on the historic environment
• Deliver Member benefits through multi-disciplinary CPD and discussion events, highlighting the unique expertise that historic environment professionals can contribute and thereby encourage greater co-operation
• Offer potential collaboration on outreach and influencing programmes for the historic environment
