A Summary of the ASA District Councilor Position
- Attend ASA Board of Directors (BOD) meetings three times a year.
- Participate in various decision making disucssions that effect the practice of Anesthesiology
- Select ASA representatives to other organizations
- Be an advocate for Louisiana; especially in discussions concerning New Orleans hosting the ASA Annual Meeting
- Send reports to LSA about BOD meetings: newsletter articles, blast faxes and present at the LSA Annual Meeting
- Work closely with the Alternate Director
