1. Goals

Thank you for taking a few minutes to provide feedback on last week's Exemplary Leader Award Dinner. In an effort to continually improve, we'd like your constructive opinion about the evening.

Before you begin, please note that the goals of the evening were:

1. Honor an Exemplary Leader in Fred Teichert
2. Create an opportunity for fellowship among ALF members
3. Share the ALF spirit with community members and potential Fellows
4. Raise money to support scholarships for the ALF Program

* 4. The event ran from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm. The time was broken into the following parts:
* 5:30-6:45 Reception, networking, silent auction
* 6:45-7:00 Welcome (program)
* 7:00-7:40 Live auction
* 7:40-8:10 Dinner (no program)
* 8:10-9:00 Program

Of the three and a half hours of the event,
* 50% was spent on networking and talking at your table
* 19% was spent on the live auction
* 31% was spent on the program from the podium

Did you feel this was a good balance of the three goals of providing time for networking, honoring our exemplary leader, and raising funds for ALF scholarships?

* 7. In 40 minutes of live auction time, ALF raised $14,700 from twelve items, $11,700 in Fund-a-Scholarship donations, and with a scholarship match from Wells Fargo, the total of the live auction was $37,600 to help fund scholarships for the ALF program.

With regard to the live auction, how would you rate it as part of the evening's program?

I loved it.

I enjoyed it.

It was ok -- necessary to raise funds, but not my favorite part
