Dear students of Brescia and King's,
Thank you for your interest in being a part of this year’s Income Tax Clinic (ITC). The 2010 Clinic is scheduled for Monday, March 22nd to Friday, March 26th. We are currently looking for several volunteers and a few day managers to assist in the operations of the Clinic, specifically, March 22-23 @ Kings and March 24-25 @ Brescia. Please note that the position is competitive, so make sure to put some effort into this application!
Volunteers are required to volunteer with the ITC for at least 4 hours (2 shifts) over the course of the week. Although taxation knowledge is not required, a willingness to learn is! As a volunteer, you will receive training and certification from The Canadian Revenue Agency.
Two mandatory training sessions will take place on Saturday, March 13th (10am-5pm) and Saturday, March 20th (1pm - 4pm). Please note that a $5.00 fee will be collected during the first training session to cover the cost of shirts and lunch.
Applications will ONLY be accepted between February 26 (12:00 a.m.) - March 4 (4:00 p.m.).
