PATHWAY FOR ACADEMIC, CAREER, and TRANSFER SUCCESS (PACTS)

The Pathway for Academic, Career, and Transfer Success (PACTS) at LATTC is a sequence of instructional programs and services designed to provide students with the competencies they need to successfully access a college education, complete a certificate/degree, transfer, and/or obtain a career that pays family-supporting wages and offers opportunities for advancement and growth.

A competency is the capability to apply or use a set of related knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform "critical functions" or tasks.

The PACTS Framework is comprised of four distinct tiers representing competencies students need to succeed in their unique college and career goal(s). Each competency can be thought of as a "building block" of student success. This survey is asking your opinion on the importance of different competencies on Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the framework--please see the diagram below.

The results of this survey will help the college to identify the most critical competencies needed for student success.
