As part of the Cambridge Cycling Town initiative, the County Council are proposing building a cycleway along the side of the road between Milton and Impington.

While this will certainly benefit those who wish to cycle between the two villages, the County Council rules on school buses mean that the building of this facility might make the road 'safe' for school students and so lead to the withdrawal of the school bus service from Milton to Impington Village College.
