Yancey County, in collaboration with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service and the Town of Burnsville, is investigating the establishment of a centralized marketing service for area farmers to access local markets for their products. This market will also be able to offer you and your family the freshest, healthiest local foods at affordable prices.

At this time, the project wants to identify local families and consumers in the area who wish to participate in this project by purchasing specific types of produce or other farm products for sale at a centralized market.

In order to determine the viability of this concept, it is very important that we document an interest from area consumers for produce and farm products produced in the county. Please take a few minutes to fill out and return this short survey.
