Summer Dates
Shalom and welcome aboard!
Our work together this summer begins before the chanichim (campers) arrive with Shavuah Hachanah (a week of training and preparation). This time is critical to our ability to work as a team to provide a safe, fun and meaningful experience. Please review the following dates to note carefully when you should plan to arrive at Camp Ramah:
June 13, 2010 = Hanhallah Arrives
June 14, 2010 = Ropes/Outdoors Staff Arrive
June 15, 2010 = Lifeguard/Swim Instructors Arrive
June 16, 2010 @ 12:30pm = New Staff Members Arrive
June 16, 2010 @ 5:30pm = Returning Staff Members Arrive
July 21, 2010 (AM) = 2nd Session Only Staff Arrive
August 18, 2010 = 2nd Session Ends
If you have an academic or professional conflict with these dates it is critical that you contact Erika (erika@ramah.org) or Zach (zach@ramah.org) as soon as possible to request a special arrival or departure.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: We know that some of you may have conflicts due to the calendar for Los Angeles Unified School District and/or freshman college orientation and move-in dates for Fall 2010. We will try our best to be flexible, but need you to be in touch in order to finalize a plan.
