10. Affiliated student groups are required to:

1) Endorse SFL’s Statement of the Principles of Liberty:

“Students For Liberty is an organization that supports liberty. SFL does not dictate the foundations upon which individuals justify their belief in liberty. Rather, Students For Liberty embraces the diversity of justifications for liberty and encourages debate and discourse on the differing philosophies that underlie liberty. What Students For Liberty endorses are the principles that comprise liberty:
• Economic freedom to choose how to provide for one's life;
• Social freedom to choose how to live one's life; and
• Intellectual and academic freedom.”

2) Provide a Strategic Action Plan at the beginning of each semester outlining your organization’s planned events and activities so we know the organization is active and can better assist the organization's development. Information on how to create a Strategic Action Plan is available on SFL’s website at www.studentsforliberty.org/college/groups/SAP/.

3) Groups must agree to complete SFL’s annual End of the Year Report to provide information on your organization’s successes, areas of improvement, and the following year’s leadership. The purpose of this is to evaluate SFL’s effectiveness, identify new ways to support your organization, and maintain updated records to keep in touch with your group. It is also a way to evaluate your organization’s performance for internal records.

4) Groups must agree to stay in contact with SFL about your organization’s successes, weaknesses, and significant changes (e.g. new contact info) so SFL can better inform your organization about opportunities, collaborate on projects, and highlight student successes in promoting liberty.
