The Pennsylvania Library Association (PaLA) continues its campaign to change the public’s understanding of library services and the perception among policy-makers of the fundamental role we play in developing life long learners. For the ninth year in a row, we are asking you to share with us the programs and services you offer to enhance learning among children of all ages in your community.

Given the current budget climate, now more than ever it is so important to remind everyone how valuable libraries are to the communities they serve. Please share your best practices so that we can recognize public libraries from across the state that have innovative and successful programs in place for children, teens, families and caregivers.

We hope you will plan to attend the PaLA Conference and Best Practices Awards brunch at Seven Springs on Sunday, October 20, 2013.

Please fill out the application, and submit it by May 10, 2013. You are permitted to submit more than one application from each library system or branch.

No paper or email applications will be accepted. You must complete the application online.
