Rice RCR Short Course Registration

Rice Summer Responsible Conduct Registration

Responsible conduct of research is defined as the practice of scientific investigation with integrity. It involves the awareness and application of established professional norms and ethical principles in the performance of all activities related to scientific research.

To accommodate the new recommendations established by federal agencies for training in the Responsible Conduct of Research, training in the responsible conduct of research at Rice University has been modified to include mentoring and contemporary ethical issues in science and to add significant discussion of individual case studies. All researchers in the Rice community funded by NIH or NSF awards are required to have RCR training.

The RCR Summer Short Course will be held July 17th & 24th from 9:30AM-11AM in the SST 106. You must attend both sessions.
