WHY THESE SHOULD MATTER TO YOU

According to the governing documents of Contented Ltd, an elected 'Core Team' works with the Director(s) to set the strategy and manage governance of the company. This may include deciding which of your activities will qualify as investments in the Research & Development Fund ("the Pot"), as well as how and when any value might be returned to you. The Core Team is also the point of any consultation on contracts with Contented Ltd and should be an important connection for you concerning your relationship with the enterprise and its members.
The Core Team will be quorate with three members, excluding Director(s); however, all eight nominees will bring greater diversity and creative thinking and allow us to spread the work of managing the organisation's affairs. So please support as many as you feel able to. ie YOU CAN VOTE FOR AS MANY AS YOU LIKE!

There's an opportunity at the end for you to confirm your details (these will be separated from your voting) and to reflect on your relationship with Contented. We will pass these comments to the new Core Team.
ELECTION RULES

All registered signatories are eligible to vote. To be appointed to the Core Team, each nominee requires approval from one-third of those participating. The Core Team will stand for six months and individual participation will be reviewed by the Annual General Meeting, which may confirm individuals for a further six or 12 months and elect replacements and/or additions. Core Team activity will be credited to the "Pot".
In the case that fewer than half the Active members vote, the elections will be considered invalid, the Director(s) will nominate an interim Core Team, and new elections will be held within two months. (Active members are those who have recently responded to the group and whose preferences have been set to receive regular emails via active@contented.net)
The survey will close at midnight on 31 August 2010, after which we will email registered signatories with the results and information on the new Core Team - including how to contact them.
