1. Charity Navigator California Wine Country Fundraiser Survey

Charity Navigator is thinking of hosting a California wine country fundraising event—including great wine, food and entertainment—at a winery in the Sonoma Valley on a Saturday evening in late June 2011. We’re also planning on throwing in an extra perk (see the second question below). Since this involves a lot of long distance planning (we’re based on the East Coast), we want to gauge the level of interest before we proceed.

2. To make a weekend of it, we have begun to make arrangements with several wineries to offer event attendees a passport that entitles them to tastings and special club pricing for wine purchases. Participants may include:

Napa: Heitz, Robert Craig, Summers, Bell, ZD, Raymond, Swanson, Patz & Hall, Clos du Val, Bouchaine, Diamond Creek, Honig, Turnbull
