Compact is “the working together in partnership of the voluntary, community and statutory sectors to improve the quality of life for Coventry people” – encouraging mutual respect, understanding and equality between partners and the continuing development of good practice in joint working. Codes of practice to illustrate this have been adopted by The Coventry Partnership and are about to be launched in a smart new format, and we are also launching The Coventry Compact Awards to recognise and highlight good practice. As part of this work, the The Coventry Compact Steering Group will be monitoring awareness of Compact and how well it is being put into practice.
