Las Vegas District meeting (Oct 16-17)

 

Welcome to the Las Vegas joint district meeting registration!

This is the first Joint meeting involving the Heartland, Terra Grande and Southeast districts. Enjoy Las Vegas!!

Look forward to a packed weekend where the three districts get to enjoy a day and 1/2 of education/chapter training sessions starting Oct 16 through the morning of Oct 17. Multiple sessions on education/instructors, marketing and technology for chapters. Agenda should be on district website.

Registration table for the meeting opens at 8:00a Saturday morning with the first session to kick off at 9:00a. Lunch will be a 'working' lunch as Abe Eshkenazi, CPA, CAE, CSCP will be joining us as our guest speaker. There will be a sit-down lunch served starting at noon. Saturday will run to 5:00p.

Also, you may only see a 1/2 day scheduled for Sunday, but don't think you will miss out on anything. VLW (Volunteer Leadership Workshop) kicks off right after lunch Sunday for even more sessions to help the chapters. First session Sunday kicks-off at 8:00a with wrap up before noon (lunch on your own).

Due to incredible demand on The Wynn for Conference (great to hear!), we are advising chapter volunteers to book their room at the Embassy Suites for Friday/Saturday night (Sunday if you're staying). The rate for Embassy Suites is coming in at: $109 (well below the $179 for The Wynn during Conference). So enjoy and book early: Embassy Suites Convention Center Las Vegas: 702-893-8000... The Embassy is about 1 1/2 away from The Wynn (meeting rooms). We are working on transportation to/from - stay tuned for final news on your district websites.
