Welcome to the Timmins 2020 Branding Strategy Survey!

This is your chance to help craft a brand for the city. Our brand is our story: it is what we want others to think about us when they hear the word 'Timmins'. It is a consistent message tying together the positive attributes of the City. The brand will be used to attract tourists, new residents, new businesses and investment. In other words, it is our 'sales pitch'.

Right now, Timmins does not have a sales pitch. The City has a coat of arms, but that's not designed to sell anyone anything. We also have a great slogan - "The City with the Heart of Gold" but that doesn't tell much of a compelling story either.

This is your opportunity to help the City figure out its brand or 'sales pitch' to attract new investors, tourists, and businesses. We’re talking to Timmins residents, businesses, and community organizations and to outsiders to find the messages that will make us stand out from the competition.
