Pulaski County Adult Day Services

The Pulaski County Board of Supervisors would like to hear from you concerning your interest in and needs for an Adult Day Service and Fall Prevention Center. Adult Day Services are services provided in a group setting for adults who need daytime supervision, care, and support. Services may include health and nutrition monitoring, assisting with bathing, dressing, using the toilet, getting in and out of bed, feeding, walking, and supervision of medications. They may also include rehabilitation, recreation, and socialization. Services are usually offered for a fee that is normally lower than nursing home or in-home care. Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, etc. usually help with the service fees. The Adult Day Service and Fall Prevention Center would be independently managed by a professional nursing staff.
