The American Planning Association invites you to become a part of the AICP exam application review process by volunteering as an AICP Peer Reviewer. Volunteer Peer Reviewers will work remotely as part of a 24-person review team for a two-year term and participate in one exam review cycle per year, either the Spring Cycle (January through March) or the Fall Cycle (July through September). Each reviewer will be assigned 10–20 applications to review every two weeks.

Peer Reviewers, in collaboration with APA staff, will evaluate applicant essays for compliance with criteria requirements and decide whether to approve or deny applications. APA will provide training for all volunteers.

Qualifications:
• AICP member in good standing for at least five years.
• Internet access and ability to use web-based workflow.
• Ability to meet via the phone/web during review cycle.
• Ability to participate in an on-line discussion forum.
• Time management skills.
