The Blue Earth County Historical Society has been focused on the future through activities such as the Museum Assessment Program last summer and the current undertaking of a three-year Strategic Plan.

The goal of the Strategic Plan is to give Board and staff members a road map for the future of BECHS. For planning purposes, the organization has been divided into four Strategic Commitments aka “buckets of work”:
1. Collecting and preserving Blue Earth County History.
2. Exhibiting and presenting Blue Earth County History.
3. Programs and promoting Blue Earth County History.
4. Organization Operations (financial, human capital and facilities)

As a member-supported organization, we are asking for your input in prioritizing our work plan. As you can imagine, our buckets are overflowing right now with ideas and opportunities, so we need your help prioritizing our activities for the future growth of this organization.
