Maine Dept. of Agriculture, Conservation, & Forestry - Boating Facilities Division
Navigational Aids User Survey
The Boating Facilities Division, Navigational Aids Program is soliciting feedback from their customers on the quality of the inland waterway marking program. On "State Marked Water Bodies" established policy prohibits the placement of waterway markers within the Water Safety Zone (the first 200' from any shore) except in special cases. Also, in order for a buoy to be placed the hazard must be covered by less than 4' of water "at expected low water." If you recently visited an inland lake or pond marked with navigational aids, please complete this questionnaire in order to help us gauge the quality of our service.
* Questions with an asterisk require an answer.
* This survey is for lakes and ponds only.
