Workplace Breastfeeding Support Survey
Breastfeeding is the preferred method of feeding an infant and is considered as a gold standard for infant feeding. Breastfeeding helps babies, mothers and the community. Breastfed babies are healthier with less infections and digestive problems.
Employed breastfeeding mothers are less likely to miss work due to their baby's illness and are at a lower risk of getting breast and ovarian cancer. Women who are in the workforce face challenges in continuing breastfeeding upon returning to work after their maternity leave. Studies have shown that workplace breastfeeding support increases the duration of breastfeeding.
The intent of this survey is to assess workplace support for breastfeeding employees. Please take a few minutes and complete the survey. Thank you for your time.
