FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR A YEAR-ROUND FARMERS MARKET IN DOWNTOWN WATERBURY

Brass City Harvest, Main Street Waterbury, and Naugatuck Valley Community College are conducting a study to see what people think about creating a farmer’s market specializing in Connecticut-grown foods and Connecticut-made products that would be located in downtown Waterbury. This survey is very brief, and completely anonymous.
1. Are you a Waterbury Resident?
2. Do you work in Waterbury?
3. What is your age?
4. When you come to downtown Waterbury, how do you get there?
5. Would you come to a year-round farmer’s market located in downtown Waterbury?
6. In general, when would you be most likely to come to the farmer’s market? (check all that apply)
7. In addition to Connecticut-grown food and Connecticut-made products, what other kinds of things would you like to see at the farmer’s market? (please choose ONLY your top 4 choices!)
8. Where do you think a downtown farmer’s market would be most likely to succeed?
9. Do you have any questions about this project? We would love any suggestions or feedback you want to give us.
