Supporting people with autism in Moray

The Moray Council, NHS Grampian (in Moray) and their partners are writing a strategy about autism. The strategy will agree what services and support there should be for people in Moray who have autism and how we will achieve this.

The strategy is intended to incorporate the needs of all people on the autistic spectrum, of all ages and abilities.

The strategy will run from 2014-2024. It will follow on from the current strategy 2011-2014 which is for adults with autism who do not have a learning disability.

The questions below are aimed at those who support people with autism of any age, ability and in any setting eg education, social care, voluntary sector, charitable organisations etc.

Within the survey the term 'service' is used as a generic term for all support provision including schools, clubs, day services, assessment services etc.

It should take about 10 minutes to complete. There will be a consultation event on the 3rd September (9.30am-11.30am in Holy Trinity Church Hall, Elgin) following which a draft strategy will be written and sent out for public consultation.

PLEASE COMPLETE BY 31ST AUGUST 2013

Thank you for taking part in this survey.
