A limited number of 50% scholarships are available to help schools offset the cost of participating in the World Savvy Challenge. Applications must be completed at the time of registration and will be accepted on a rolling basis until December 15, 2011.
Schools chosen to receive a scholarship commit to the following:
-All participating students complete the program evaluation;
-All students that compete in a regional Challenge event write a testimonial or thank you letter to be given to a World Savvy donor, sharing their experience at the event and the impact it had on them;
-All coaches or team captains write a letter following the Regional Challenge Day informing the World Savvy scholarship fund donors how the opportunity to participate in the program impacted their students as well as their own teaching methods;
-All coaches provide World Savvy with copies of lesson plans, assessment rubrics, program timelines or other materials created to facilitate student participation in the program.
