1. About the Shop

My cousin, Karen Olson, is taking over management of the former Ristreto coffee shop, and I am helping her come up with a name. The location is 40th Avenue South, 3 blocks east of Osgood in the Woodhaven Plaza. The shop's specialties will include housemade, artisanal baked goods, unlike anything else you'll find in the area, all personally created by Karen and baked fresh in the wee hours every morning. (When describing the various items, she had me at Cinnamon Blueberry Rolls with Lemon Glaze). Karen is an expert in this field, and will bring in the best coffees from specialty roasting companies throughout the US. There will also be a lively selection of wines, beers, and gelatos - and a drive-thru window! AND a free conference room perfect for committee meetings and book clubs. Now help us name it!
