In December 2008 Portsmouth successfully bid for £3.1 million of funding from the Department of Health for various healthy lifestyle projects in the city.
As one of just nine local authority areas nationally to be awarded the Healthy Towns status, Portsmouth’s Healthy Pompey programme is leading the way in the south east in providing accessible, easy ways for people to be more active and eat well for a brighter future.
This survey aims to find out further information about the current walking and cycling activities of Portsmouth residents.
