Transportation Education Development Pilot Program for Regional Curriculum Coordination


Industry Survey




Thank you for taking the time to answer our research questions about workforce development needs in transportation. We estimate that this survey will take no more than ten minutes to complete. Your answers will help to identify effective workforce development strategies already in place and areas where more work is needed.


This project is being undertaken by a team from California State University, Long Beach in conjunction with the University of Southern California and APTREX, the American Public Transit Exam Institute. This material is based upon work supported by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) under Grant No. DTFH61-08-G-00011. It is part of the FHWA’s Transportation Education Development Pilot Program (TEDPP). The objective of the TEDPP is to develop, test, and revise new curricula and education programs to train individuals at all levels of the transportation workforce.


The purpose of the CSULB-led project is to develop models for effective coordination and collaboration between education and training institutions and local and regional transportation organizations.
