Police Satisfaction Survey

1. Introduction

The primary objective of the College of William and Mary Police Department is to protect life and property, and to provide a safe and secure environment to live, learn, teach, and grow. In order to meet this objective, the police department provides the full range of law enforcement and other unique services to the College community.

The Department is comprised of 24 sworn full-time, part-time, and auxiliary police officers;10 security, administrative support, and dispatch personnel.

The safety and security of any community is a responsibility shared by all members of the community. To that end this survey has been designed to gauge the level of satisfaction the community has for its police department. Additionally this survey is designed to identify areas of strength and weakness in the Department so the Department can better provide law enforcement and security services to the William and Mary community.
