AES Name Change Proposal

1. A presidential committee was appointed to explore the desirability and feasibility of changing the name of AES. Three selections were presented to the Executive Council which chose, by majority vote, to present the option to the AES membership to change the name of our society from the American Equilibration Society (AES) to the American Society for Occlusal Studies (ASOS). The AES Executive Council requests that you participate in a survey to determine whether there is sufficient member support to bring this issue forward as a formal proposal and motion at the next AES Member Business Meeting to be held at the Chicago Downtown Marriott on February 23, 2012.
