National Action Plan on Demand Response Survey
National Action Plan on Demand Response Survey
On Thursday, June 17, 2010, FERC submitted a National Action Plan on Demand Response (NAP) to Congress. The NAP recommends activities in three main areas: Technical Assistance, Communications and Information/Resources. It also recommends the formation of a coalition to undertake NAP-related actions, and the Demand Response Coordinating Committee (DRCC) has begun to form a "Coalition of Coalitions" to accomplish these tasks.
The NAP Coalition will be working closely with DOE, FERC and other federal agencies to solicit broad input from stakeholders into the NAP implementation effort. The initial efforts will focus on identifying existing resources, tools and research that are available and which can be coordinated and made better available to members of the Demand Response and Smart Grid community.
Thank you for your time in filling out this survey. We appreciate your feedback about the future of the National Action Plan on Demand Response.
