The Los Angeles Public Library and the Library Foundation of Los Angeles, in partnership with local non-profit community organizations, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investor Education Foundation and the American Library Association (ALA), will be offering free financial literacy workshops for the public as part of the Smart Investing @ your library® grant to support grassroots financial literacy. The workshops will begin in October 2010 at various library branches.
