1. Why this survey?

As we are revamping our officials program, we are looking at changing the was we name events in Canada. We currently use the names "A, B and C" to distinguish between the different types of events. Those are pretty boring names!

The COF Board members, as well as others, think that it is about time that we came up with new names for our events that would help improve our image with newcomers, existing members and the media.

We are looking for your ideas...

Question Title

* 1. A meets
We are considering changing the name of "A meets" to "Canada Cup Events".
(The concept is that Canada Cup Events would be part of a series in which all athletes would earn points with the male and female competitors in every age class with the highest number of points being declared Canada Cup Champion at the end of the season. We think that this would increase the profile of A events, and lead to a larger turnout. Other than the scoring - we intend to create a very simple scoring system - this approach would not put any additional burden on the organizers.)
What do you think of the idea of re-name A meets to Canada Cup Events? If you don't like the name Canada Cup, do you have other suggestions?
