Parking Solutions Committee Survey
Sponsored by Cowichan Bay Improvement Association

The Parking Solutions Committee has a goal of developing a plan for the Cowichan Bay business community that will address the parking needs of residents, customers, and employees. We believe the solution of parking issues is important to pedestrian and vehicle safety in the village. The success of this plan requires input from the property owners, businesses, marinas, and residents. We would ask you take a few moments and complete this questionnaire. This input will be collected and the committee will pull together a strategy for implementation after it is vetted by CBIA. The first step is seeing which group you fall into.

In your view how big of an issue is parking in the Bay? 1 - There really is no parking issue in Cowichan Bay.

2 - It is a bit of an issue, but we can solve it with some minor fixes such as painting lines and putting up signs.

3 - It is getting bad and we SHOULD address it as we become a more popular destination.

4 - It is BAD and we NEED to address it, people don't visit because of lack of parking.

5 - It is UNACCEPTABLE and we MUST fix it, people are not coming to visit because of no parking and residents can't find a spot!!!
